Your Curriculum

Each Certificate Program comprises three interrelated challenges, equipping  you with unique competencies to conquer current and future hurdles.
Challenge  #1
Foundations for E-Mobility
Explore e-mobility value chains, identify issues and opportunities, and develop sustainable solutions. You will reflect on societal impacts and research existing e-mobility companies. By the end of this course, you will be able to describe the e-mobility value chain and identify its key components and processes.
Challenge  #2
From Recycling to Circular Economy
Examine recycling and the circular economy in established industries. You will analyze products, evaluate recycling processes and propose circular solutions. Through analyzing an existing product, its lifecycle and bottlenecks, you will develop ideas to improve the lifecycle of its materials.
Challenge  #3
Battery Reuse, Repair, Recycling
Learn about OEMs (original equipment manufacturer). Within the automotive industry, this refers to any company that manufactures cars or automotive parts. Building upon the knowledge of the e-mobility value chain and seeing how the 9R framework is applied in other industries, you will be able to propose alternative actions for handling batteries at the end of their first life.

What you’ll learn

Upon completion of this program, you will be able to:
Understanding green technologies
Get to know the latest green technologies, such as e-mobility, alternative power tech and green building. Have clarity on the effect traditional vs. green technology exerts on the environment.
Recycling & upcycling
Understand recycling routes and processes for various products. Identify opportunities to extend product lifecycle and develop after-life solutions.
Value chain analysis
Evaluate environmental and societal impacts throughout the value chain of a specific green technology (e-mobility). Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
Concept of circular economy
Develop strategies for resource efficiency and waste reduction. Identifying opportunities for closed-loop systems and resource recovery.
