Christian Offermanns main area of expertise has been in the field of batteries, where he has worked to enable battery electric mobility through various industry and research projects. This has included the entire value chain of batteries, from battery engineering and safety to production planning and establishing battery manufacturing sites. In addition, Christian has been deeply committed to the circular economy of batteries, including cases such as battery repair, repurposing and reuse, remanufacturing, and recycling.
