Sami Asad is an ecologist and conservation scientist unwaveringly committed to advancing sustainable resource management and addressing anthropogenic impacts in Southeast Asia. His primary research thrust involves harnessing biodiversity monitoring data to enhance sustainable forestry practices. Sami's research portfolio extends across diverse domains, including quantifying anthropogenic impacts on biodiversity, endangered species monitoring and management, spatial ecology, and herpetology. Beyond research, he has a wealth of experience as an educator, offering insights into sustainability, conservation biology, ecology, and biological sciences. His teaching expertise ranges from graduate-level life history evolution to GSCE Biology, making Sami a valuable contributor to research and education in these fields.
