Dr. Apar Jain

Dr. Apar Jain is a multidisciplinary scientist turned entrepreneur who studied Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science in University. He was an All India rank holder in academics & studied at prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Delhi before moving to Europe. He graduated with dual PhD in Neuroscience from European Molecular Biology Laboratory and University Heidelberg. He also spent significant research time at Columbia University in New York. His research focused on dissecting neural circuits for different behaviours of anxiety & fear. After working as Neuroscientist at German Cancer Research Center, Max Planck Institute for Medical Research and University Hospital Heidelberg, he cofounded his first startup helping immigrant population for finding temporary work. Being convinced with entrepreneurship as his future career path, he honed his management skills and built his network with a dual American-European Executive MBA from Kellogg School of Management in USA and WHU in Germany. He has been strategic advisor and led startups in different domains and industry. He was affiliated with TUM for an Entrepreneurship research study. At ToU, he has been teaching the courses combining Neuroscience with Entrepreneurship. The latest course he taught was Entrepreneurship Mindset.
